En una de las fachadas de la Catedral de Sevilla, justo en la que da a la Calle Alemanes y a pocos pasos de la Puerta del perdón, podemos ver esta ventana que pasa desapercibida para casi todos los visitantes y turistas que quieren ver tan inmenso recinto.

Para conocer el significado de esta ventana debemos leer el rótulo de mármol que está situdo en su parte superior.

En él se dice lo siguiente: "Por aquí se avisa para que se administren los Santos Sacramentos a desoras de la noche".

Cuando la familia de un enfermo creía que su muerte estaba cerca, era de noche y debía recibir el sacramento de la "unción de enfermos" para ir preparado ante la futura visita a Dios, tenía que avisarlo a los sacerdotes a través de esta ventana.

In one of the walls of the Seville´s Cathedral, just in Alemanes Street and very near of the Puerta del Perdón (Door of the pardon), we can see this window that happens unnoticed for almost all the visitors and tourists who go to see so immense enclosure.
